SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The No. 43 Lewis University women's tennis team fell to No. 16 Drury 5-3 Friday (April 20) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament quarterfinal matchup.

Lewis (11-9) came into the tournament as the No. 4 seed in the East Division, while Drury (16-1) is the top seed in the West Division.

The All-GLVC duo of
Dora Andrejszki (Budapest, Hungary/Dozsa Gyorgy) and
Nora Mindiyarova (Moscow, Russia/Gimnasium 1577) won at No. 1 doubles 8-3 over Chung-Yen Huang and JiaQing Mo. Andrejszki also won at No. 1 singles, topping Larissa Karl 6-3, 6-4. The other winner for the Flyers wasÂ
Oana Carmen Trus (Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania/Regele Ferdinand), who defeated Viktoriya Zheleva 6-2, 6-3.

Simone Parn (Parnu, Estonia) fell to Larissa Karl and Julia Schepp 8-6, while Parn fell at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-3 to Josephine Jedrychowski.
