2/8/10 ~ Men's Volleyball Lewis To Hold Ticket Pre-Sale For Ohio State/Flyer Men's Volleyball On Friday Lewis University Athletics Director Dan Schumacher announced that tickets for Friday's Top-15 men's volleyball showdown between Ohio State and the Flyers (7 PM) will be pre-sold in the main athletics office of the JFK Sports Center (SC 161) beginning on Wednesday (Feb. 10) afternoon. 2/8/10 ~ Women's Basketball Jenny Turpel Named GLVC Women's Basketball Player Of The Week Lewis junior forward Jenny Turpel (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the league office. Turpel averaged 27.5 points for the Flyers as they captured two GLVC wins and moved into a tie for first place in the GLVC North Division. (more)
