Lewis Men's Volleyball To Host Prostate Cancer Awareness Night On Saturday

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis men’s volleyball’s match with George Mason on Saturday, Jan. 28 has been designated as Prostate Cancer Awareness Night. One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to ZERO - The Project to End Prostate Cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear light blue to support the fight against prostate cancer. The team will wear light blue shirts during warm-ups. The match will start at 7 p.m.

Lewis Women's Basketball Hosts Indianapolis On Thursday On Lakeshore Public Television

Following a two-game trip to Kentucky, the Lewis women’s basketball team (4-13, 2-7 GLVC) returns home to face Indianapolis on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. It is a rematch of the 2010-11 GLVC Championship game. The contest will be aired live on Lakeshore Public Television. Scott Slocum and Sarah Kwasinski will team for the broadcast. WJOL 1340 AM and WLRA 88.1 will broadcast the game over radio.

Lewis Men's Volleyball's Greg Petty Named AVCA National Player Of The Week

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University freshman outside hitter #Greg Petty# (Downers Grove, Ill./Dowers Grove North) has been named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week. Petty helped No. 7 Lewis men’s volleyball to a 3-1 victory over then No. 6 Penn State on Saturday.
