Lewis University Director of Athletics #Dan Schumacher# announced on Wednesday (Jan. 25) that he has hired Melanie DeBoer-Brunsdon as the Flyers' newest Associate Director of Athletics and Director of Compliance for the Athletics Department.

Lewis Women's Basketball Hosts Indianapolis On Thursday On Lakeshore Public Television

Following a two-game trip to Kentucky, the Lewis women’s basketball team (4-13, 2-7 GLVC) returns home to face Indianapolis on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. It is a rematch of the 2010-11 GLVC Championship game. The contest will be aired live on Lakeshore Public Television. Scott Slocum and Sarah Kwasinski will team for the broadcast. WJOL 1340 AM and WLRA 88.1 will broadcast the game over radio.

Lewis Men's Volleyball's Greg Petty Named AVCA National Player Of The Week

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University freshman outside hitter #Greg Petty# (Downers Grove, Ill./Dowers Grove North) has been named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week. Petty helped No. 7 Lewis men’s volleyball to a 3-1 victory over then No. 6 Penn State on Saturday.

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - No. 9 Lewis men's volleyball turned to a pair of brothers to earn a 3-1 victory over No. 6 Penn State on Saturday (Jan. 21) evening. The Petty brothers, Jay and Greg, led Lewis to the win over Penn State.
