Romeoville, Ill. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Monday (Jan. 8) that Lewis University junior forward
Jessica Kelliher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) has been named the GLVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 7.
It is the second straight week Kelliher has won the award. It is also the fourth time this season and 10th time in her career that she has earned the honor.
In two games last week Kelliher averaged 28 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, while shooting 23-for-30 (76.7%) from the floor.
She had 30 points on 12-for-17 (70.6%) shooting to go along with nine rebounds and two blocks in a win over Illinois-Springfield and followed that up with 26 points on 11-for-13 (84.6%) shooting to go along with 11 boards, four assists and three steals.

"A great credit to her teammates as they're doing a phenomenal job of keeping her involved and helping her be so successful. Kudos to them as well."
Lewis will look for its fifth straight win Thursday when it hosts Bellarmine at 5:30 PM.
