ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Monday (Jan. 22) that Lewis University junior forward
Jessica Kelliher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) has been named the GLVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 21.
It is the third time in four weeks that Kelliher has won the award, fifth time this season and 11
th in her career.
In three games last week Kelliher averaged 27 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game, while shooting 27-for-41 (65.9%) from the floor.
She had 24 points on 8-for-11 (72.7%) shooting to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal at Wisconsin-Parkside last Monday. Kelliher followed that up with 31 points on 11-for-17 (64.7%) shooting to go along with 11 boards, two assists and a steal in the win against Rockhurst. It was her fifth time this season of scoring at least 30 points in a game. She finished the week scoring 26 points on 8-for-13 (61.5 %) shooting to go along with 10 rebounds, two blocks and two steals against William Jewell.

Samantha Quigley Smith said. "She plays through the physicality of the game and makes everyone around her better.
Lewis looks to extend its winning streak to 10 games when it travels to Quincy on Saturday to take on the Hawks at 1 p.m.
