HTML ResultsALLENDALE, Mich. – Lewis women's swimming hit the road Saturday (Oct. 24) morning for a dual meet at Grand Valley State. The Flyers fell to the Lakers 176-53.
Lewis and Grand Valley were rivals in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference before the Great Lakes Valley Conference sponsored swimming.
Senior
Montana Clasby (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Cedar Falls) earned a second place performance in the 200 IM, touching the wall in 2:14.37. Sophomore
Sarah Simar (Jennings,La./Notre Dame) touched the wall second in the 200 fly (2:14.69). Junior
Kara Treacy (Corpus Christi, Texas/Flour Bluff) swam the 500 free in 5:26.86, good for second place.

Brittany Kamper (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg), sophomore
Shannon Sullivan (Elmhurst, Ill./York Community) and senior
Shelby Leonard (Sarasota, Fla./Sarasota) swam a time of 3:42.55 in the 400 free relay, good for second.
The Flyers return to the pool on Saturday (Oct. 31) in a double dual with GLVC-foe Truman State and non-conference opponent Lake Forest. The meet is set for noon at the Lewis Pool.
