Lewis' Levandi Wins Second-Straight ITA Men's Tennis Midwest Regional Singles Championship

Levandi defeats teammate Erik Aunapuu, 6-3, 6-3, to claim title.

Senior Armand Levandi won his second-straight ITA Midwest Regional Singles title.
Romeoville, Ill. - For the second-straight season, Lewis University senior Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) took home the ITA Midwest Regional Singles championship, as the Estonian native defeated teammate Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi), 6-3, 6-3, at the Jack Oremus Tennis Complex on Monday (Sept. 22) afternoon.

He advances to the USTA/ITA National Small College Singles Championships in Sumter, S.C. from October 9th-12th. He and Aunapuu won the Midwest Regional doubles championship on Sunday (Sept. 21) and will also compete in the doubles flight.
