Quincy, Ill. - For the second time in a month, the Lewis University men's soccer team took No. 6 Quincy University to overtime, and the Hawks broke the hearts of the Flyers, yet again.

Omar Ramirez (Houston, Texas/Elsik) to lift the Hawks to the 1-0 (OT) victory in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Semifinals at Legends Stadium on Friday (Nov. 7) night. Quincy senior forward Jake Bond assisted on the play.
Lewis also lost a 2-1 (OT) decision to Quincy on October 7th at Lewis Stadium.
With the victory, Quincy remains undefeated at 18-0-2 and will take on Indianapolis at 2 PM on Sunday (Nov. 9) for the GLVC Championship. Lewis ends the 2014 campaign with a record of 11-5-3.
Quincy outshot the Flyers, 21-9 and also held a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal.
QU goalkeeper Drew Duncan made two saves to earn the shutout, while Ramirez made four stops for the Flyers.
