Schedule Changes For Lewis Softball Team For Next Five Days

Flyer twinbills against Quincy (Sat.) and Illinois-Springfield (Sun.) played in Springfield; Lewis/Upper Iowa doubleheader on Wed. (March 20) moved to Romeoville.

Mother Nature has altered the schedule of the Lewis University Softball team.

Romeoville, Ill. - This weekend's Great Lakes Valley Conference softball doubleheaders between Lewis University and Quincy (March 16) and Illinois-Springfield (March 17) have been moved to UIS' Land Of Lincoln Junior Olympic Softball Complex due to unplayable field conditions at both Lewis and Quincy. Both doubleheaders are scheduled to start at noon.

Lewis also announced that their non-conference doubleheader against Upper Iowa on Wednesday (March 20) has been moved to Romeoville due to unplayable field conditions in Fayette, Iowa. First pitch is slated for 2 PM.

If Mother Nature does not cooperate, the Flyers and Peacocks will head to Rosemont, Illinois to play at The Dome At The Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 10:30 AM. The Dome is located at 34 Jennie Finch Way, Rosemont, Ill.
