Lewis Men's Tennis Ranked 33rd In Nation In 2012 Campbell/ITA Preseason Rankings

Aunapuu and Levandi both ranked regionally in singles and doubles play.

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced on Friday (Nov. 16) that the Lewis University men's tennis team is ranked 33rd in the nation and fourth overall in the Midwest region, according to the 2012 Campbell/ITA Division II Preseason Rankings.

Lewis sophomores Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) and Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) are ranked eighth in the Midwest region in doubles play. Aunapuu is also ranked eighth in the region for singles play after going 22-2 as a freshman in 2011-12. Levandi is ranked 20th in the region after boasting a 20-4 mark last season.

Lewis opens the 2013 spring campaign on February 22nd, as they will take on Michigan Tech at a time and location to be determined.
