Samantha Linck (Kohler, Wis./Kohler) (Kohler, Wis./Kohler) captured a provisional mark in the high jump for the second-straight week, as the Kohler, Wis., native earned a first-place finish of 1.71 meters to lead the Flyers at the Dick Pond Track and Field Invitational, hosted by Lewis, at the Recreation Center Fieldhouse on Friday (Jan. 20) night.
Junior
Alexis Atkins (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington Central Catholic) (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington Central Catholic/Western Illinois) was second in the high jump with a mark of 1.56 meters.

Delaney McGinley (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) edged teammate
Emily Keene (Hebron, Ind./Boone Grove) (Hebron, Ind./Boone Grove) for the title. McGinley had a first-place heave of 13.68 meters, while Keene had a throw of 13.64 meters.

Megan Marchildon (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln Consolidated) (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln Consolidated) edged teammate
Kamille Ferguson (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) (Chicago, Ill./Mother McAuley) in the 55-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.49. Ferguson claimed a runner-up finish of 8.51.
Lewis sophomore
Krysten Sebby (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) won the 800-meter run title with a time of 2:22.73.
There was a three-way tie for first place in the pole vault, as Lewis senior
Dana Lenc (Downers Grove, Ill./Lemont) (Downers Grove, Ill./Lemont) claimed a share of the title with a mark of 2.15 meters.
Flyer sophomore
Samantha McGaha (Greenwood, Ind./Perry Meridian) (Greenwood, Ind./Perry Meridian) won the long jump with a leap of 5.42 meters, while the 4x400 relay team was victorious with a time of 4:06.97.
Freshman
Shakea Mercer (Suitland, Md./Suitland) (Suitland, Md./Suitland) was second overall in the 55-meter dash with a mark of 7.30 and added a runner-up mark in the 200-meter dash (26.49).
Lewis head women's track and field coach
Dana Schwarting was pleased with his squad's performance, especially since the meet had an extensive delay due to the inclement weather.
"I thought the whole team handled the delayed time schedule very well," Schwarting said. "They could have used it as an excuse, but they stayed mentally strong and we had some good performances because of it."
Lewis returns to acton on Friday (Jan. 27), as the Flyers head to Bloomington, Ind., to participate in the Indiana Relays.
