Kaden Dolbee 2025 Headshot

Kaden Dolbee

Kaden Dolbee is in his first season as Graduate Assistant for the Flyers.

After seven years of playing, including one year as a libero/defensive specialist at North Central College, Dolbee transitioned into coaching to fulfill his passion for developing players both on and off the court.

Dolbee's coaching career began in the spring of 2021 at 630 Volleyball Club in Lisle, IL. Starting as an assistant for the club’s 16-1s team, he helped lead the team to a 2nd-place finish in the 16 Open division of the USAV Boys Junior National Championship. Over the next three years, he served as the head coach for several teams, including the club’s 14-1s and 15-1s. Notably, in the summer of 2023, his 14-1s team secured a 1st-place finish in the 14 Open division at the ASICS Junior National Championship. Additionally, he held leadership roles as the Middle School Age Group Leader and the 15s Age Group Leader.

Beyond club coaching, Dolbee has worked as a private trainer at The Volleyball Institute for the past two years, further honing his skills in player development. He also served as one of TVI’s Directors of Private Training, managing private lesson operations in Chicago’s southern suburbs.

Dolbee returned to the North Central College men’s volleyball program and spent the past two years serving as a student manager. During the 2023 season, the Cardinals finished the season with a record of 25-4, the program’s best since its inception in 2016. The season featured a 17-game win streak, a perfect 11-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) record, a sweep of the CCIW regular season and tournament titles, and its first appearance in the NCAA National Championship match. The North Central College men's volleyball team met a bittersweet ending to the historic season as the Cardinals fell 3-1 in the NCAA Division III National Championship.

Dolbee is a native to the area, as he was born and raised in Joliet, IL. He graduated from Plainfield Central High School in 2020, and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and Secondary Education for North Central College in December of 2024. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Lewis University.
