Chicago, Ill. - Lewis University women's swimming went head to head with the University of Chicago and Olivet Nazarene but were only able to place third.

For the meet the University of Chicago finished with 190, Olivet Nazarene finished with 182, and Lewis finished with 103.

Redshirt junior Shannon Sullivan (Elmhurst, Ill./York ) had the top performance for the Flyers placing first in the 200 yard freestyle finishing in 1:56.30. Sullivan also took second in the 500 yard free with a final time of 5:12.97. Kara Treacy (Corpus Christi, Texas/Flour Bluff) placed third in the 1000 yard freestyle with 11:02.19.

Men's swimming will host their next meet on Jan. 21 at the Lewis Pool against Valparaiso.
