March 29, 2004 ROMEOVILLE - Lewis University is one of 28 NCAA Division II women's cross country programs to earn 2003 All-Academic recognition by the Cross Country Coaches Association (CCCA). Team members Amanda Hammond, Belinda Hawkins, Traci Hoglund, Cathea Pitts, Tarah Sobodas and Juliann Szablewski completed the 2003 fall semester with an aggregate 3.06 grade-point average on a 4.00 scale. The CCCA All-Academic award is based on the student athletes' combined GPA for their entire academic careers. All programs with a team GPA of 3.00 or higher are recognized. |
