Feb. 17, 2005 ROMEOVILLE - The Lewis University women's cross country team has been named All-Academic by the Cross Country Coaches Association (CCCA), and Andy Tremble of the Flyer men's cross country squad has earned individual All-Academic honors from the CCCA. The 2004 Lewis women have compiled an aggregate 3.354 cumulative grade-point average. The Flyers rank 46th among 77 NCAA Division II teams earning the honor. Tremble, a sophomore nursing major, easily exceeded the individual requirements of a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA and a finish in the top 30 percent at the regional championship meet. He owns a 3.973 GPA and placed 20th among 127 competitors at the Great Lakes Regional Championship. |
