CHICAGO - Terran Wertz enjoyed a solid performance Saturday, placing 29th among 310 runners to lead the Lewis University women's cross country team at the 33rd annual Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational cross country meet.

Wertz registered a time of 19:33. She finished fifth among participants from the four competing Great Lakes Valley Conference schools (Lewis, Indianapolis, Northern Kentucky and Southern Illinois Edwardsville) and ninth among runners from the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region (the four GLVC schools plus Ferris State and Saginaw Valley State).

Joining Wertz were Juliann Szablewski, 107th (20:58); Tenleigh Ayers, 160th (21:55); Amanda Hammond, 168th (22:08); and Tiffany Meyers, 208th (23:03).

Lewis finished 20th among 27 teams in the Maroon Division.
