ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Lewis University women's cross country team concluded its season Saturday by finishing 17th at the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional Championship.

Juliann Szablewski was the Flyers' top runner, finishing 55th and running the 6,000-meter course in 23:34.9.

Also running for Lewis were Tarah Sobodas (96th, 25:07.6), Traci Hoglund (119th, 26:27.1), Amanda Hammond (124th, 26:59.5) and Belinda Hawkins (127th, 27:10.8).
