BELOIT, Wisc. - Juliann Szablewski finished 12th among 123 competitors to lead the Lewis University women's cross country team at Beloit College's Old English Classic.

Szablewski, the Flyers' top runner in each meet this season, ran the 5,000-meter course in 20:52. Tarah Sobodas (23rd, 21:32), Amanda Hammond (39th, 22:05), Belinda Hawkins (64th, 23:04) and Cathea Pitts (65th, 23:09) also competed for Lewis, which scored 174 points and tied for seventh in the 12-team field.

The Flyers compete at the Illinois/Missouri Border Wars in Edwardsville Oct. 11.
