Rachel Johnson enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the Lewis University cross country and track and field teams.

On the track and field side, Johnson works primarily with the middle and long distance runners.

Johnson competed collegiately for Lewis University (2004-05) and Concordia (MN) in 2005-06 where she ran for both cross country teams and specialized in the 800-meter run and ran a leg of the 4x400 relays.

Upon completion of her sophomore campaign, Johnson, along with three of her peers, started a non-profit organization that helped high school youth.

Johnson, who graduated in 2008 from Concordia, received bachelor's degrees in both interpersonal communications and psychology.

She is currently pursuing her masters degree at Lewis in school and guidance counseling.

Johnson aspires to become a high school guidance counselor and track and field coach while organizing an after-school programs for local high school youth.

Johnson, who is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, currently resides in Bolingbrook.
