2008-09 Highlights: Delahanty Award winner given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence, and Academic All-GLVC selection...earned an indoor career-best time of 1:02.81 in the 400-meter dash at the Titan Open (Jan. 31)...claimed an outdoor career-best time of 2:23.97 in the 800-meter run at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 18).

2007-08 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC...finished third overall in the 800-meter run (2:25.27) at the Early Bird Open (Dec. 8)...was third in the 800-meter run (2:24.90) at the Dick Pond Open (Feb. 22)...grabbed a third-place mark in the 800-meter run (2:30.05).

Prep/Personal: Earned two varsity letters...was an indoor and outdoor state qualifier in the 400-meter dash as a junior... broke Dixon's school record in the 400-meter dash (59.85)...was indoor conference champion in the 400-meter dash...was a member of the superior honor roll and the National Honor Society...was class valedictorian...daughter of Dan and Dawn Howell...plans to major in TV/Radio broadcasting.
