Now that we have had a week to recover from injuries and the Regional loss, I think our team is really starting to see how far we have come this season. We all wanted to win that Regional Championship game so badly and I think we deserved it more than any other team out there. As a senior, I can say that I feel blessed to have had this my last volleyball season of my career. Not only did we win almost all of our games, we had the time of our lives as we did it! Our team displayed what it really means to be a team. We had so much energy playing the game as well as on the bench. Each member of the coaching staff provided positive characteristics that helped guide the team to all of our victories.

One of the best memories that will stick out in my memory forever would have to be sweeping University of Indy for the second time in a row for the Conference Championship. The second we put that last ball down for the game winning kill, I felt the biggest feeling of happiness and excitement. Wining the GLVC championship is an honor in itself but beating the home team 3-0 made the experience even more memorable. As I graduate in May, I am so proud to say that I was a part of the success Lewis Women's Volleyball experienced in their 2007 season.
