On Oct. 27 the Flyers swept the Greyhounds at Indianapolis to break the Greyhounds' 25-match win streak. The victory helped propel the Flyers into the national rankings. The win avenged an earlier season loss to Indianapolis at Neil Carey Arena on Sept. 8.

Last night both the Flyers and Greyhounds won in five games to advance to the GLVC Final. Indianapolis was taken to five games by Rockhurst while Lewis had to rally from an 0-2 deficit to defeat SIUE. Senior Andrea Morrone was not only one kill away from a triple-double but recorded a solo block on match point to give the Flyers the victory.

Today the Flyers look to win their sixth GLVC Championship and their first back-to-back titles since 1982-1983.
