Sept. 19, 2006 ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University has announced that Karen Lockyer has resigned her position as head women's volleyball coach and is leaving the coaching profession. Lockyer will remain at Lewis as Chair of the Department of Sport and Exercise Science. Lewis head men's volleyball coach Dan Friend will serve as interim head coach of the women's volleyball team for the remainder of the 2006 season. The University will initiate a search for a permanent successor shortly. |
