Box Score

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Lewis University women's volleyball team drew back to .500 in conference play with a sweep of Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Bellarmine Friday night. The Flyers easily controlled two of the three games as they breezed to a 30-14, 31-29, 30-13 victory over the host Knights.

Lewis (13-8, 5-5 GLVC) jumped on its opponent early, taking an 11-1 lead in the first game and never looked back that contest. The third game mirrored the first, as Bellarmine (2-12, 1-8 GLVC) took a quick 2-0 lead, but Lewis then reeled off 10 straight points.

Sarah McKinney and Jenna Sayers had nine kills apiece to lead the Flyers. Rory Harrison had a match-high seven blocks and added five kills, while freshman setter Andrea Morrone had 28 assists and seven digs.

Lewis limited Bellarmine to a .031 hitting percentage on the strength of 10 team blocks.
