KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lewis presented a tough challenge to a nationally ranked opponent Friday night before Rockhurst prevailed with a 32-30, 30-22, 30-28 Great Lakes Valley Conference women's volleyball victory. Freshman Stephanie Sagat enjoyed another strong offensive outing, leading the Flyers (8-4, 2-1 GLVC) with 16 kills and a .294 attack percentage against the 22nd-ranked Hawks (10-1, 2-1 GLVC). Theresa Nugent logged a third consecutive kill-dig double-double with 12 kills and 16 digs, while Sarah McKinney tallied 12 kills and 10 digs. Lauren Hatter contributed 12 digs and Andrea Morrone passed out 50 assists to go with nine digs. The Flyers play a GLVC match at Drury Saturday afternoon. |
