Daniel Laure beings his first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University women's volleyball team. He graduated from Lindenwood University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in finance and a minor in accounting. In 2009 he earned NAIA All-American honors as he helped Lindenwood win the NAIA National Championship. He also took home MAMVIC All-Conference nods in 2008 and 2009. Off the court, Laure was the Club Volleyball Curriculum Director in 2008. He also participated in the Lindenwood Work and Learn program and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Laure brings coaching experience with Gold Medal Squared Camps in Chico, Calif. He analyzed the skills of athletes and created drills to develop specific skills. Laure worked with school coaches to ensure the club's coaching aligned with their team goals. He also developed a volleyball training system that was implemented at high schools across the country. Laure also was a coach with the Kansas State Volleyball Camp from 2005-07. Laure is a member of the Extreme Volleyball Professionals beach tour. He is pursuing a master's in business administration at Lewis. |
