Former Louisville standout Slavko Radman enters his first season as an assistant coach for both the Lewis University men's and women's tennis teams.
One of the most successful players in Cardinal history, Radman was a three-time All-Conference selection and was named the Big East Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2006. The Split, Croatia native totaled 57 wins in just three seasons with Louisville, leading the Cardinals in victories all three seasons.
During that span, Radman became just the third player in Louisville history to qualify for the NCAA Singles Tournament in 2006. As a senior, Radman would team up with Damar Johnson and eventually that duo was ranked as high as seventh in the nation on their way to an appearance in the NCAA Doubles Tournament - making him the first Cardinal to compete in both the singles and doubles tournament in school history. Radman completed his marketing degree with an international business minor in 2007 and is currently enrolled in Lewis' MBA program.
Upon his graduation, Radman has been working as a teaching professional alongside Jack Sharpe at the Hinsdale Racquet Club in Hinsdale, Illinois, where he has also taught many high-end juniors across the country. Sharpe has helped develop many junior players, pros, and professionals, some of whom have made it to the top 100 in the world.
