High School: Earned three varsity letters ... four-time NFCA Scholar Athlete honoree ... was the leading pinch hitter as a sophomore when she batted .281 with three RBI ... as a junior, hit .317 with 15 RBI and led the team in outfield assists; for her efforts, she earned honorable mention all-conference and all-area recognition, while helping the team to a 28-9 record ... had a breakout season as a senior when she batted .372 with six doubles, three triples and 21 RBI ... helped the team to a 19-8 record in 2002 and the school's first IHSA regional championship since 1999 ... was named second-team all-conference, third-team all-area and Illinois Coaches Association all-state third team following her senior year ... was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
