E-mail coach Gorski

Joan Gorski, the former head softball coach at Bellarmine College from 1996 to 1998, is in her seventh year as an assistant coach. She primarily works with the catchers and infielders, but is involved in all aspects of the team's operation including recruiting and practice and workout regimen.

Gorski received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago, where she was a four-year starter in softball and an all-conference honoree. She also has coached at the high school level.

Gorski, a graduate of Saint Francis Academy in Joliet, resides in Shorewood. Her husband, Sheldon, is a member of the Illinois-Chicago Hall of Fame in hockey. They are the parents of 9-year-old Rachel and 6-year-old Dylan.
