High School: Three-year letterwinner as a middle infielder at Cary-Grove H.S ... helped lead her team to its best record in 12 years as Cary-Grove went 23-11 her senior year ... in that season, she batted .374 with a .588 slugging percentage and eight doubles, seven triples, two home runs and 16 RBI ... as a result, she earned All-Fox Valley Conference (FVC) and all-area recognition ... she also was named all-area second base by the Daily Herald and the Northwest Herald ... as a junior, batted .290 with eight doubles, five triples, one home run and was 9-for-9 in stolen bases ... led the team to an 18-13 record and was named All-FVC and all-area.

Travel/Club: Played for the DuPage Sidekicks, Cary Trojans and Barrington Hurricanes summer-league teams ... with the Sidekicks, she hit .298 with eight doubles, five triples, one home run and 16 RBI, while helping the team to a 25-14 record in 2002 ... she played for the Trojans in 2003 and helped the team to a 16-4 record and a first-place finish in the Stevenson League ... with the Trojans, she hit .490 with 26 hits, 27 runs, four home runs, six doubles, three triples and 12 stolen bases.

Personal: Daughter of John and Debbie Ferlito ... was a four-year member of the honor roll ... plans to major in journalism/communications.
