MIDLAND, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State posted an 8-0 win over the Lewis Flyers, Friday afternoon in a non-conference tilt on the campus on Northwood University.

Tammie Edmunds led the Cardinals with two goals and an assist, while Kim Oberski collected three assists along with one goal.

Stacy LaLond posted the shutout in net for the Cardinals.

Amy Foran, Kari Huizinga and Bethanee Taylor registered shots for the Flyers.

The Flyers return to the field on Tuesday when they play their home opener against St. Francis at 3:00 p.m.
