ROMEOVILLE, Ill.--Eleven of the 17 goals scored by the Lewis University women's soccer team this season have been recorded by underclassmen, including a pair in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match with Saint Joseph's Friday afternoon.

Freshmen Courtney Kettel and Bethanee Taylor helped lead Lewis to a 2-1 halftime lead against Saint Joseph's (6-8-1, 5-5 GLVC), but the Pumas answered with three second-half goals to top Lewis 4-2.

Kettel began the scoring in the 14th minute when she fired an unassisted goal from the top of the goal box to give Lewis (5-10-2, 2-6-2 GLVC) a 1-0 lead at 14:35.

SJC answered 12 minutes later as Olivia Klosterman scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season off of a pass from Aniela Pulice.

Taylor gave Lewis the 2-1 lead when she dribbled across the width of the field from left to right before cutting towards the goal and slipping a shot past the Pumas' goalkeeper.

SJC's Rachel Cobean tied the game 1:47 seconds into the second half. The Pumas tallied the gamewinner 19 minutes later on a Maddy Starin goal. Cobean added her second goal of the game at 77:03 to help clinch the win.

Lewis matched Saint Joseph's shot-for-shot in the first half, forging an 8-all tie. However, the Pumas tallied 12 second-half shots while Lewis fired four.

Lewis' Lindsay Frederick registered five saves.
