ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis ran into an undefeated, nationally ranked Quincy team Friday afternoon and dropped a 3-0 decision in a Great Lakes Valley Conference women's soccer game. Flyer goalkeeper Lindsay Frederick was solid, making 13 saves against the 11th-ranked Lady Hawks (8-0, 5-0 GLVC). Becky Fleming had a goal and an assist, while Megan Brockman and Kim Koenig netted a goal apiece for Quincy. Bethanee Taylor registered three shots for Lewis, which slipped to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the GLVC. The Flyers host Southern Illinois Edwardsville Sunday at 2:30. |
