ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Goalkeeper Lindsay Frederick turned in an outstanding performance Friday in the Lewis University women's soccer team's 1-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference overtime loss to Southern Indiana. Frederick made 18 saves on the day, but a goal by USI's Rebecca Cripe 7:02 into the extra period made a winner out of the Screaming Eagles (1-2, 1-0 GLVC). The Flyers (1-3, 0-1 GLVC) registered five shots on goal. Lewis hosts GLVC opponent Kentucky Wesleyan Sunday at 2:30 p.m. |
