ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Teresa Sandri (Highland Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista HS) has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play golf at Lewis University this fall.

Sandri, a three-year letter winner began playing golf as a freshman receiving the award for the Most Improved Player. Her dedication and hard work qualified her for the 5A State Tournament in her junior and senior years finishing 29th and 21st.

In addition to her high school golf team, Sandri has competed in tournaments through the Colorado Junior Golf Association, Colorado Women's Golf and the Colorado Gold Crown High School Boys Team. She placed first in the Highlands Ranch Club Championship Tournament.

Sandri graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA, earning Highest Academic Honors. She also is a member of the National Honor Society. Sandri also earned letters in cross country and orchestra and was a member of the basketball and swimming teams prior to committing entirely to golf. Sandri is the daughter of David and Sherri Sandri of Highlands Ranch.
