Sept. 26, 2005 EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Jamie Siedlaczek and Michelle Dudek registered top-25 finishes Monday as the Lewis University women's golf team placed seventh at the University of Southern Indiana's 14-team Screaming Eagles Classic. Siedlaczek tied for 14th among 80 golfers with an 82, while Dudek tied for 22nd with an 84 at the par-72, 5,862-yard Cambridge Golf Club. Siedlaczek tied for second in the field in par-4 scoring (4.30 average), and Dudek tied for second in par-3 scoring (3.00). Also competing for the Flyers were Amy Sachs, tied for 36th (87), Rachel Parks, tied for 43rd (89), and Lyndsey Krieger, tied for 55th (93). Lewis posted a 342 team score and finished sixth among nine Great Lakes Valley Conference teams. However, the Flyers were just two shots behind Missouri-St. Louis, five shots behind Northern Kentucky and nine shots behind Southern Illinois Edwardsville, GLVC opponents who placed sixth, fifth and fourth, respectively, in the overall standings. |
