Sept. 16, 2005 LOCKPORT, Ill. - The Lewis University women's golf team won its third tournament of the season and second in three days Friday, capturing a five-stroke victory at the eight-team St. Francis Invitational at Broken Arrow. Four golfers finished among the top 10 for the Flyers, whose season-best 329 team score edged runner-up Bethel (334). Jamie Siedlaczek fired an 80 (tying her season best) and placed fourth, Amy Sachs shot a season-best 82 and finished seventh, Lyndsey Krieger carded a season-best 83 and was eighth, and Vanessa Nomura posted a season-best 84 to place ninth. Also competing for Lewis, which won at St. Francis for a second consecutive season, were A.J. Lagerhausen, who tied her career best of 91, Michelle Dudek (91), Nicole Mason (95) and Lisa Huebsch (107). |
