LOCKPORT - Lewis University captured its second women's golf team title of the fall season Friday, winning the University of St. Francis Invitational by eight strokes. Flyer golfers claimed three of the top seven individual places. Chantelle Mika finished third with an 82, Lyndsey Krieger tied for fourth with an 84 and Michelle Dudek placed seventh with an 88. Also competing for Lewis were A.J. Lagerhausen, 22nd (100), Vanessa Nomura, 23rd (101), and Nicole Mason, 30th (116). Lewis tallied a 354 team score to top Robert Morris (362), St. Francis (362), Missouri-St. Louis (364) and Saint Joseph's (380). The tournament was played at the par-72 Broken Arrow Golf Club. |
