LOCKPORT, Ill. - Juniors Amy Sachs and Jamie Siedlaczek and sophomore Carly Keeler each finished in the top 10 for the Lewis Flyers at the St. Francis Invitational at Broken Arrow Golf Course. Sachs tied for seventh in the field of 67 golfers after shooting an 82. Siedlaczek and Keeler both carded 83 to tie for 10th place. Senior Vanessa Nomura tied for 13th (84). Also competing for Lewis were freshman Teresa Sandri, tied for 19th (86); freshman Sheila Connolly, 20th (87); sophomore Allison Snyder and freshman Courtney Kellogg, tied for 47th (96); freshman Courtney Everett, tied for 50th (97); freshman Heather Poppe, 54th (103); and sophomore Brittany Halpin, tied for 62nd (113). The Flyers top foursome carded a 332 team score for a second-place showing. Lewis' second foursome was eighth (382). Bethel College took first (308). The Flyers golf next at the Elmhurst Invitational on Tuesday. |
