Sept. 2, 2005 NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. - The Lewis University women's golf team opened its 2005-06 season Friday by finishing fifth among 10 teams at the Robert Morris College Fall Classic. Michelle Dudek and Jamie Siedlaczek led the Flyers in the one-day tournament, tying for 11th place among 68 golfers with a round of 84 on the par-74, 5,860-yard Foss Park course. Nicole Mason tied for 21st with a career-best 87, Lyndsey Krieger tied for 25th with an 88, and Amy Sachs and Rachel Parks tied for 49th with a 92. Lewis carded a 343 team score. Bethel won the tournament with a 328, followed by Robert Morris (332), Illinois College (338) and St. Francis (338). |
