KANSASVILLE, Wis. - Lyndsey Krieger opened the season on a high note Friday, finishing third among 75 competitors at the Carthage College Women's Golf Opener. Krieger shot a 10-over-par 82 on the Brighton Dale Links Golf Course Blue Spruce course. Jill Franz of Robert Morris won the tournament with a 76, and Carey Cappel of Illinois College was second with a 78. With a team total of 378, Lewis placed eighth among 12 teams in its season opener. Joining Krieger were Chantelle Mika and Vanessa Nomura, tied for 22nd (94); Michelle Dudek, 56th (108); A.J. Lagerhausen, 60th (111); and Nicole Mason, 72nd (128).
