April 21, 2007 LOCKPORT, Ill. - Three members of the Lewis University women's golf team finished among the top 12 in the NCAA Division II flight of the Lewis Aviator Classic, played Friday and Saturday at Prairie Bluff Golf Club. Jamie Siedlaczek (157) placed seventh in the 39-player field. Siedlaczek followed an opening-round 81 with a 76 on Saturday, tying her season best. Amy Sachs (80-82=162) finished 11th, and Carly Keeler (79-84=163) tied for 12th. Keeler's first-round 79 is her season best. Also competing for the Flyers were Michelle Dudek, tied for 26th (83-90=173); Vanessa Nomura, 30th (87-90=177); Allison Snyder, 32nd (94-88=182); Nicole Mason, 34th (93-98=191); and Britta Halpin, 39th (101-107=208). Lewis finished fifth in the team standings, shooting rounds of 331 and 336 for a 667 total. |
