March 8, 2007 ST. CLOUD, Fla. - Jamie Siedlaczek posted a top-10 finish and three of her Lewis University teammates registered career-best rounds at the Grand Valley State University Spring Invitational. Siedlaczek tied for ninth place with rounds of 78-82=160 on the par-72 Royal St. Cloud Golf Club course. Amy Sachs tied for 20th (169), following an opening-round 88 with a career-best 81. Michelle Dudek (81-89=170) tied for 23rd, while Vanessa Nomura (171) overcame a first-round 93 by firing a career-best 78 to lift herself into a tie for 25th. Allison Snyder (92-85=177) tied for 38th, and Carly Keeler (96-87=183) finished 42nd. Nicole Mason (192, 46th) fought back from an opening-round 106 to card a career-best 86, while Britta Halpin (103-95=198) placed 48th. The Flyers finished fifth among eight teams with a 674 total (339-335). |
