Position:
Assistant Coach (2nd season)

Alma Mater:
Winona State

Amanda Reimer begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University women's basketball team.

A 2007 graduate from Winona State with a bachelor's degree in marketing and a minor in mass communications and coaching, Reimer was a three-year team captain and four-year starter for the Warriors. She set school career records for most games played (112) and made free throws (426). Reimer is one of only 10 Warriors to score 1,000 points in her career. She also finished third in career rebounds (698) and fifth in scoring (1,305). Reimer received all-conference recognition three times, was a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Academic Team selection all four years and was honored as NSIC Player of the Week.

In 2007-08 Reimer helped the Warriors reach unprecedented success. As the team's leading rebounder and second leading scorer, she helped her squad record a school record 21 victories and the program's first home first-round conference tournament game.

Reimer earned 12 varsity letters in basketball, volleyball and track in high school. On the basketball court Reimer set school career records for scoring, rebounds and defensive rebounds. She was all-area and a four-time all-conference selection.

Reimer is pursuing a master's in business administration at Lewis.
