The Lewis men's volleyball team swept Manitoba 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-15) in preseason play at the Innisbrook Resort Volleyball Invitational in Clearwater, Fla. on Monday. The Flyers concluded the Invitational with a 3-1 mark. Long Beach State finished a perfect 4-0. Pepperdine tied Lewis with a 3-1 finish. Ohio State completed play with a 2-2 record. Lewis fell to McMaster (3-0) on Friday, defeated Brandon (3-0) on Saturday and defeated Queen's 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 25-10, 25-20) to start the Invitational. All matches at the Invitational were exhibition matches and will not count towards the Flyers' final record.
Lewis junior Drew Pickering was named to the All-Star team.
