ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - This Saturday, Dec. 1 the Lewis University men's volleyball team will participate in the Mizuno Invitational, a preseason tournament featuring 25 teams competing at the Gentile Center on the campus of Loyola University.

The tournament lineup features several top club teams and Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association foes Quincy, MSOE, Loyola and Ball State.

The tournament will provide a tune-up for the Flyers' 2008 season.

Lewis is scheduled to play against NAIA Lakeland at 8 a.m., NAIA Cardinal Stritch at 10 a.m. (approximately), club squad Rappaport at 1 p.m. (approximately) and club squad Shockers at 4 p.m. (approximately).

All pool matches will be two games to 25.

The top two squads of each pool will then compete for the tournament championship.

The Flyers play for real when they open the regular season at Penn State on Jan. 11.
