Men's Volleyball Adds Middle Hitter Andrew Craine

July 14, 2010

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University men's volleyball head coach Dan Friend has announced the addition of Andrew Craine (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) to the 2011 roster.

Craine, a 6-8 middle hitter, earned four varsity letters for Upper Arlington. He recorded 748 kills, 241 blocks and 99 aces during his career. He was a two-time first team all-conference selection. He earned first team all-region honors as a senior and second team accolades as a junior. He was an honor roll student in the class room. Craine played for Vanguard Volleyball from 2007-09 and Matchpoint Volleyball from 2009-10.

"Andrew brings good size and length to the team," Friend said. "He will definitely help our depth on the team right away. I'm looking forward to seeing him make an impact down the road."
