ERIE, Pa. - Alex Vigansky led Lewis with nine block assists as the Flyers out-blocked Mercyhurst 16-5 en route to a 30-28, 30-26, 30-25 conference win Friday night.

The Flyers improved to 10-15 (3-7), while the Lakers fell to 3-18 (1-10).

Along with his dominating play at the net, Vigansky also slammed down eight kills, hitting .429 for the match. Drew Pickering registered a team-high 10 kills to go with four digs, three block assists and one ace.

Billy Sahagian hit at an impressive .727 clip, totaling eight kills, and he had one solo and four assisted blocks. David Kelnhofer added nine kills with one solo and five assisted blocks, and Mykolai Zerebeckyj contributed eight kills and seven digs.

Nick Perakes added a team-best 10 digs, while David Taylor notched five kills with his 38 assists.

Nate Keegan led Mercyhurst with 15 kills, and Jordan Pierson totaled a match-high 11 digs.

The Flyers continue their road trip tomorrow night with a match at Penn State at 7 pm.
