Gerard Weik is in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Lewis University men's volleyball team. Weik's main duties are on-floor coaching and recruiting. Weik has 15 years of junior coaching experience. He also served two years as a boys volleyball coach at Lockport High School. Weik has played in USAV tournaments for 15 years and helped his team win a regional championship and two zonal championships. In addition, his team has placed in the top 5 three times at the USAV national tournament. He is the owner/director of the boy's Chicago Volleyball Club and coaching director for girl's Celtic Force Volleyball. Weik grew up in nearby Lockport, graduated from Lockport High School in 1991, and now resides in Joliet. |
