EVANSVILLE, Ind. - John O'Neill posted a 2-1 record and reached the C-Flight singles semifinals to highlight Lewis University's participation in the 2003 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Fall Invitational.

O'Neill defeated Southern Indiana's Shawn Skelton 6-2, 6-1 in the first round and Southern Illinois Edwardsville's Chris Rigdon 6-3, 6-4 in the second round. Adam Moler of Northern Kentucky ended O'Neill's run with a 6-1, 6-1 semifinals victory.

Kevin Kolb won his C-Flight first-round match, 6-0, 6-1 over Missouri-St. Louis' Rusty Durbin, before falling 7-5, 6-3 to Southern Indiana's Sam Tucker.

The Flyers' A-Flight doubles team of Matt Moyzis and Lockport's Beau Mega topped Missouri-St. Louis' Mike Schaff and Francis Lam 8-6 in the first round, then dropped an 8-2 second-round decision to Amine Benjelloun and Oliver Marinkovic of Northern Kentucky.
