2008-09 Highlights: Was 7-23 in singles action and compiled a combined record of 10-20 in doubles action with teammates Scott Mauer, Travis McKinney, Balasz Somogyi and Kevin Veatch...earned GLVC singles wins over Saint Joseph's James Smith (6-1, 6-2) and Quincy's Baxter Grace (6-3, 4-6, 6-4)...teamed up with Balasz Somogyi at No. 2 doubles for conference wins over Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Saint Joseph's and Quincy...placed fifth overall in the `B' flight singles draw at the Upper Iowa Invitational with wins over Nebraska Kearney's Casey Colbert (6-2, 6-4) and Newman's Regis Fox (6-3, 7-5)...in same event, teamed up with McKinney in the `B' flight doubles draw and won two matches on their way to a runner-up finish. 2007-08 Highlights: Teamed up with Chris Meyer to earn the 8-4 win over College of DuPage's Carlos Vargas and Jared Brown at the Flyer Fall Classic (Oct. 13). 2006-07 Highlights: Went 3-9 overall in singles action and 5-8 in doubles play...teamed up with Doug Fritz for the 8-4 win over Lake Superior State's Craig Baas and Steve Demps on February 24th...paired with John O'Neil for the 8-5 victory over SIU-Edwardsville's Zach Allison and Thibault Chevalier on March 24...earned both a singles victory and a doubles win with O'Neil against both Eureka (March 26) and Saint Joseph's (Apr. 10). 2005-06 Highlights: Totaled a singles record of 3-9 and a doubles mark of 4-9...competed at primarily No. 3 doubles with Joe Lascon where they finished with a mark of 3-8...claimed a 6-0, 6-2 win over Concordia's Aaron Grube on March 17...shutout Lakeland's Andres Araujo (6-0, 6-0) on March 26...upended Aurora's Jimmy Hunt (6-2, 6-3) at No. 5 singles on April 12. Prep/Personal: Played for Barrington as a senior...competed for three years on the Barrington Club Hockey Team where he played both left wing and left defense...son of Robert and Deborah Karas...major is history.
